last week was a whirlwind of weather from cold to warm to snow to warm. that’s jersey for ya! I kept it simple in neutrals (as usual) + added fun accessories to bring it up a notch.

sunday best:
choker tees are my jam.
they up the edge of a simple tee with one simple strip of fabric. genius, right?
our church is not your typical jacket + tie affair, hoodies are fully acceptable. in fact, you can catch my hubs preaching in hoodies + huaraches most days. so i added black jeans, my fave leather jacket + booties for a simple sunday look.

comfy monday:
you know mondays, you don’t want to roll out of bed, you don’t want to go to work + you surely don’t want to get dressed. athleisure to the rescue! this isn’t your typical sweatshirt + when you add some leather booties + statement earrings, you have a work-acceptable look!

shades of cream:
another day, another choker tee! i kept it simple (are you noticing a trend here yet?) with this cream fringe cardi, some ripped jeans + (again) ankle booties!

a 60-degree day calls for a striped tee, some demi boot jeans + a nautical necklace. i mean, the rope strand + gold accent is so perfect for spring!

snow calls for layers.
i started with one of my fave old navy tanks (just buy one already), topped it with a cozy turtleneck sweater, some olive skinnies, my uber-cozy sorels + overcoat. snow doesn’t mean dumpy either, add a pretty statement earring for a little glam, even in the lowest of temps!

unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that ruffles + bell sleeves are everywhere right now! add in my favorite line ever for target…ahem, who what wear….+ you have the cutest sweater ever. think you need to keep everything else low key with a statement sleeve? nope! add a statement necklace for an added punch of fun!

i headed out to a fun shopping event saturday with some younique + lula roe gals + what better way to show off my stella & dot jewels than in all black?!! i added a hat for fun (+ day six hair) + it was pretty close to perfect in my book! note again, more ruffles.
