are you sick of me talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet?
I’ve been wearing some of my finds lately (as seen on Instagram), but its also been superhot lately so while they’re good for a shoot, i can’t wear them all day long yet….

cue this dress.

i scooped it up on my last visit to Nordstrom where I literally tried on like the entire store, but that was for last week’s post. unfortunately, its been sold out ever since but i’ve been diligently stalking Nordstrom’s website to see when it comes back in stock. there are a few similar ones – here and here – that you can scoop up for the same price and the same feel.

anyways, to get the most bang for my buck, even though the dress was under $30, I wanted to see how versatile it can be and let me tell you, it does NOT disappoint!

so here’s three ways to wear a gray t-shirt dress:

daytime/business casual

I wanted to do a casual look, but something that could be worn to work still (in a casual business setting clearly) without looking TOO casual. lace-up leopard sandals and this crossbody plus rose gold and bronze jewelry did the trick, don’t you think?

date night

Who says a t-shirt dress can’t be dressed up?
add some edgy fun jewels, the hottest clutch for fall and peep-toe booties and you’re set! when in doubt, black always adds a sassy/edgy touch!

weekend

saturdays call for a quick and easy look to run errands, hit the farmers market or brunch. so i added a simple chain, flirty studs, comfy kicks and a tote that expands with your ever growing to-do list!
