its been so frigidly cold in new jersey these past few weeks which makes me reach for some of my winter essentials on repeat. like seriously, we had a wind chill of -12 today. what is happening?!! so rather than keeping them all to myself, i figured i’d share the love with all of you!
when heading out, a puffer coat is more than mandatory. this one is olive green which pretty much matches everything. i honestly could care less how ridiculous i look bundled up while heading out in this freezing-ness, but at least this coat is chic. obviously a scarf and hat are more than necessary and these gloves are not only warm, but they’re tech gloves so you can still scroll to your little hearts desire without catching frostbite on your fingers. (notice more neutrals so you can mix and match them with other coats too!) lastly, you need a good snowboot. the price of these may be a bit to swallow, but i promise you, they are worth every.single.penny. you will not feel one touch of the cold with these strapped on your feet, you will not regret this purchase.
while cozied up inside, i’m one of those people that is always bundled up – my husband questions the circulation in my hands and feet multiple times a day – so warm and cozy layers are a must. i literally live in this cardi. its so soft and oversized and works over any outfit, pjs included. i recently picked up these pj pants that every blogger under the sun shared bc not only are they $12, but they are SO soft and warm and you need to buy all the colors. (i got a medium in these since they are pretty fitted). a cute mug is oh so needed given the copious amounts of coffee, tea and cocoa i drink this time of year and my fave candles fill almost every room in our house for their amazing winter feels. don’t forget to snag a warm and furry blanket for couch snuggling and lots of lip balm and lotion for the lovely dryness that accompanies this cold weather.
