And I’m back!  We were lucky enough to squeeze a quick trip to Mexico in our busy schedule last week and my DM’s were buzzing away asking for ALL the outfit deets so as I usually do for you, I’m rounding up What I Wore in Mexico again all in one post!  (See the last one HERE)

We jetted off to Costa Mujeres (at the end of Cancun) with the boys for four days and jam packed our schedule with pool time, beach time, water park, boat rides to Isla Mujeres, etc and enjoyed every single moment of it!

Cancun Bathing Suit and Coverup for Moms

bikini | coverup | sandals | hat

We hit the ground running as soon as we checked in, hence this pool soaked mirror selfie!  I grabbed this bikini on a whim and really love it!  I’m all about this black and white geometric print gals!  The top is molded and has a detachable strap while the bottoms are high-waisted, full coverage and has cute little cutouts on the sides.  I grabbed a Small in this suit and its under $20!!

This coverup was highly recommended by pretty much every blogger I follow, so I snagged it with the quickness for my trip!  It’s very lightweight, has supercute bell sleeves, buttons up and can be worn as a top as well!  Its One Size Fits All and only $21.99!

Palm Print Vacation Dress

dress | sandals | bag | earrings | necklace | beaded bracelets | dainty bracelet

When I saw this palm print dress, I knew I just had to get it for Mexico!  I mean, does this not scream vacay?!!  It also comes in blue, red and mustard, but I really loved the green!  It fits true to size (I’m in a Small) and its under $30!  I paired it with these sandals I grabbed right before leaving and gals, they’re so good!  The straps are stretchy and don’t dig and the sole is the same as a flip flop!  They come in a few colors, but I love the gold for summer and best part?  They’re only $12.99!!  I grabbed my true size 7 in these.

One Shoulder Bathing Suit Cancun

bathing suit | shorts | sandals | sunnies

I’m saying it now and I won’t take it back, this is by far my fave bathing suit EVER!  Its cute and sassy with the side cutout and one shoulder, however it covers well and sucks everything in!  It comes in a few colors and patterns, but I went with basic black and sized up to a medium in this one!  Oh yeah, its also under $30 so you cannot beat it!

Red Ruffle Dress Cancun

dress | heels | necklace | earrings | cuff bracelet | dainty bracelet

When I decide to wear color, red is usually my go-to shade!  It just always looks so nice with a tan, am I right?!!  This off the shoulder, hi-lo, flowy dress is another great pick for vacay!  Its loose so you can pig out on all the vacay treats, but is so vacay-chic at the same time!  I don’t recommend sizing up in this one, I grabbed an X-Small and its under $20!!

Isla Mujeres Bathing Suit for Moms

bathing suit | sunnies

We took an all-day excursion over to Isla Mujeres which included a ginormous boat, aqua blue waters, authentic mexican food, golf cart rides around the island and snorkeling!  We’re boat people so this was a perfect day for us!  I wore this crowd fave $19 suit that I wore awhile back and about 10,000 coats of sunscreen!  I grabbed this suit in a small and the fit is perfect!

Cancun Bathing Suit Coverup

Another coverup I’ve seen on pretty much everyone and decided for $15.99, it needed to come to Mexico with me!  This one is also One Size Fits All and just super freakin cute!  It comes in a few colors, but I went with this off-white color.

Vacation Travel Outfit

tee | shorts | sandals | sunnies | hat | necklace | travel bag

Before we knew it, it was time to head home so I packed it all up and hit the airport with my leopard getaway bag!  I do not travel without this bag – its TSA-approved as a personal item when zipped up like above, but it expands to give you more room for all the souvenirs and is still carry-on size!  Some people (not me) even pack for their whole trip in this bag!  I, on the other hand, have never NOT checked a bag – but maybe one day I’ll get there!

So that’s what I wore in Mexico!  Sadly, some nights we were too tired to get dressed and go out for dinner so the boys hit the pool tables and Mike and I hit the sack – old people problems!  I did spend a LOT of time in these pjs and be sure to check my Instagram this week to see the other dresses I didn’t get to wear while there!

It was a great vacay, but I’m glad to be back and have some really exciting stuff to share with you this month so be sure to subscribe to the blog so you don’t miss a thing! xo
