I am not gonna lie, I really like their jeans! I surveyed my Instagram followers earlier in the week and the majority of you prefer high-rise skinny jeans with some distressing in a medium wash so I was sure to include those along with some pairs that caught my eye!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
Additional Note: I wear a 2R in AE jeans and am wearing my usual 26R in all of the jeans below. I did mistakingly grab a 26 Short in some of the pairs which I will note in their description. I don’t recommend grabbing a short in their ankle jeans if you are 5’3″ or taller!
If you’re new here, I freakin love mom jeans – I wear em every chance I get! They are just comfy and chic in their own way and I’ve come to learn that Abercrombie has some really cute mom jeans! This pair is considered an Ultra High-Rise which means they hit above the belly button which is TOTALLY fine with me – suck all that area in please! They do not dig in at all and the leg of the jeans is slightly loose with slits in the knees and a raw hem. I grabbed a 26R in these and the fit as well as length is great! I love them paired with this cami (wearing a small) and I’ll be sure to add a moto jacket and some fun earrings!
Same cami, different mom jeans! This pair is from their Curve line which means there is an extra 2″ added thru the hips and thighs compared to their standard mom jeans. I did notice some extra room in these bc of the fit, but I’m also not an overly hippy gal. I love the distressing on these and they have a little stretch to them. I’m wearing a 26R in these and may have been able to size down to a 25 in these, but they didn’t have that size in store. So my suggestion, if you’re curvier in the hips, get your regular size. If not, size down!
Grabbed a simple pair of high-rise jeggings here and these fit like a GLOVE! The front pockets are not functional here and they have a raw hem. I could have done a Short in these jeans, but I’m wearing a 26 in Regular length here. These come in a few different washes and variations, but these are a great, classic wash for everyone’s closet!
These jeans are supercute and you def need to head over to My Instagram Stories to get a better look at their details! They have a braided waistband and raw hem and the fit is great! These are also an Ultra High-Rise and to be honest, I’m really liking this rise! Wearing a 26R here as well! Now this tee, it comes in 17 colors and prints and its SO freakin soft! A great basic tee to add to your closet and might as well stock up during this sale! I’m wearing a Small in this tee.
Same tee, but this time with the Distressed High Rise Jean Leggings in the Short length. I grabbed the Short by accident, but I think I prefer them here – as long as the jeans aren’t made to be Ankle Length, us gals 5’3″ and under could do the Short! These fit the same as the Jean Leggings above however the distressing is in a weird spot for me? I’m wearing the 26 Short here.
Ok, these jeans – don’t write them off yet! I grabbed the 26 Short by accident and when I went looking for the Regular length, they didn’t have them. (These are Ankle Length jeans – see the difference when grabbing the Short length!) Anyways, I LOVED the way these fit and will be grabbing them! They have a button-fly, super skinny leg and I love the hem of these!! This Wrap Top is SO cute and when they say “Soft” they sure mean it! This top comes in 5 colors and I’m wearing the Small here. I really loved this top – SO cute!
Same top – doesn’t it look so cute with black jeans?!! This pair is considered high-rise, but they are even higher than the other pairs. They have a double button closure and suck everything in really well, however if you don’t like really high-waisted jeans, I would pass on this pair. I’m wearing a 26 Regular in these.
