Well, we’re almost TWO WEEKS into that Quarantine Life and at first, the outfits were a little scary. What am I saying at first for? Who am I kidding? Last weekend, I wore the same clothes all weekend. It ain’t cute all the time, y’all! Well, when a few of my blogger friends asked if I’d be interested in sharing some cozy looks on Instagram stories this week, I knew it was just the challenge I needed to wash my hair, put on some makeup and a somewhat matching outfit.
Some things I’m discovering throughout this quarantine:
Leggings Are Life.
I used to be the girl that swore you only wore yoga pants to yoga. Now I’m the girl that rocks leggings 3-4 times a week.
Showering Does Wonders.
We’re working away from the comforts of our home (because we’re not allowed to leave it), but on the days where I wake up, shower and put on my eyebrows, I just seem to get more accomplished.
Thank Goodness for Athleisure.
I’ve really embraced athleisure this year and can we all just say Thank God?? If there weren’t a plethora of leggings, joggers, graphic tees and hoodies out there, I don’t know that I would have as many cozy looks to rock daily. So thank you Anna Wintour for giving athleisure a nod.
So here are Three Cozy Looks I’ve been wearing regularly during this Quarantine Life:
I’ve had this convertible poncho for a few years now and I’ve definitely gotten my wear out of it! One, it converts from a poncho to a cardigan – see HERE. Two, it goes over everything! I often bring this to the office with me in the summer when the AC is pumping. I paired it with this cute leopard tee I found at Zara and my trusty Spanx Faux Leather Leggings – SO glad I finally pulled the trigger on these! They’re high-waisted, suck everything in and add an edge to your typical black leggings.
I’m wearing a XS in the poncho, a Small in the tee and a Small in the leggings – I recommend going up a size in them
While working on new ways of “doing church” online, I need something comfy to wear. This Free People top is lightweight and flowy, perfect for WFH comfort – it’s also currently on sale for $19.95!! I added these Stella & Dot leggings that have totally won me over – they’re high-waisted, suck everything in, not see-through at all and $20 cheaper than Lululemons! I feel like I’m not wearing any pants with these on – they’re too good!
I’m wearing an XS in this top and these leggings – I recommend going down a size in the leggings
This weekend, I’m really aiming to not wear the same outfit the whole time and actually shower and brush my hair. We’ll see how it goes. Anyways, I’m ALL about my oversized hoodies like this one (and every other one) at H&M. I paired it with these Pact joggers (similar pair HERE) – I like their slim fit and organic cotton!
I’m wearing a Large in this hoodie and these joggers – I sized up for an oversized fit in the hoodie
So there’s a peek at a few of the looks I’ve been rockin’ on the regular! One word of advice tho…
You can thank me later! 😉
