Since I shared my updated skincare routine awhile back, I’ve been getting one of my favorite compliments ever, “Your Skin is Glowing!”  I mean, I’m turning 40 this year so I will take ANY skin compliment, but the “glowing” variety is my favorite for sure.  So why not share four things that I believe helped me get that glow?  I mean, we’re all stuck in our house anyways, so what better time to try out some skincare products??

Bye Bye Undereye Illumination

I discovered this product in an Advent Beauty Calendar my sister got me for my birthday and immediately bought the full size of it!  If you need to brighten your undereye area, this is THE STUFF!  It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Illumination is better than the Becca one in my honest opinion!  I use color Light Natural and its perfection.  You use a VERY small amount so this tube will last you at least six months – I’ve had mine since November and still have plenty left!

Vacay Tanning Drops

These add a literal glow as in a hint of summer to your face!  I am paler than pale right now, but one thing I stopped doing as an adult is tanning my face.  Ever Vacay Tanning Drops to the rescue!  These drops make it SO easy to add a little color to my translucent winter skin!  You just add 4-6 drops to your moisturizer and rub it in as usual.  No smell, no streaking, SO easy!  I also use it on my body, just add 4-6 drops to your body lotion.  No smell, no streaking.  These build gradually, so I use them every other day for a hint of color to carry me into spring.  Now we just need to work on being able to leave the house…

Honeymoon Glow

After hearing rave reviews from multiple blogger friends about Farmacy’s Honeymoon Glow, I decided to give it a shot – I also had a sephora gift card which helped 😉   It claims that it’s a, and I quote: A three-in-one night serum that resurfaces, hydrates, and clarifies dull skin while you sleep, formulated with a 14 percent AHA/BHA/gentle flower acid blend.  What the heck does that mean?  Well for me, I put 1-2 pumps on after I wash and tone my face and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is bright and glowy!  I could literally see a difference within the first week of using it.  Smoother skin, softer skin, hydrated skin – I’ll take it!

Good Ol’ Water!

Yup, tip #4 is to drink more water!  Annoying? Maybe!  True? Absolutely!  I can link you a million articles on why water is good for you, so just drink a bunch of it, k?  I like my Starbucks tumblers to suck down my water each day bc its just easier for me to drink more with it.  If you’re the type that needs to see how much you’ve drank, I def recommend this tracking water bottle – I love how motivational it is!

So there they are, my Four Tips for Glowing Skin!  Do you use any of these?  Have any other tips to add?  I’d love to hear them in the comments below!  If you found this helpful, be sure to Pin It to share the love.
