Ok, so you guys know how much I love my air fryer. It was one of those things that I kept fighting the urge to buy, but once I did, I have not once regretted it! We use it almost every day, for real! If I’m honest though, I started regretting not buying a big air fryer from the jump bc only being able to fit two pieces of chicken in the basket at once made it a really long process of making chicken cutlets.

So the other day, Chase dropped the air fryer and it broke and I was actually excited about it bc it was the perfect excuse to upgrade our air fryer! I have been researching air fryers and asking friends to recommend theirs and ultimately decided to get the Instant Pot 10qt Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven. It has so many functions and won’t break the bank. Believe me, I really wanted the Cuisinart one, but Mike would’ve killed me for dropping $300 on an air fryer.

So why is this one so much better than what we had?

Ok first of all, its a LOT bigger! This 10qt air fryer holds a LOT! (My previous one was 2.4qt). If you have more than two people at home, you need a big air fryer to save yourself a lot of time. I was able to fit 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs in this one at the same time! It was glorious, let me tell you!

This Instant Pot 10qt Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven has a TON of functions: Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Reheat, Broil, Dehydrate and cook on a rotisserie – YES! A rotisserie!! It also comes with two cooking trays, a basket and the hardware to rotisserie a whole chicken.

Its also fully digital. You type in your temperature and time and it starts to pre-heat. Once it hits that temp, it’ll beep to tell you to put the food in. Then halfway through the cooking time, it’ll beep and tell you to flip whatever you’re making – that is HUGE! I can’t tell you how much time I’ve wasted standing there staring at the time so I didn’t miss flipping it halfway. Oh, there’s also a LIGHT! It sounds kind of stupid, but you can turn the light on mid-cooking to take a peek at how your food is doing!

Lastly, easy cleanup! Just remove the cooking trays and drip tray and wipe them down! The inside doesn’t have any crazy nooks or crannies, so its very easy to wipe down as well!

Guys, I’m sure there’s a lot more that this thing can do – oh yeah, you can make toast in it as well! – so I’ll report back the more I get to know it, but I am really happy with this upgrade! This Instant Pot 10qt Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven has officially earned counter space in our kitchen and we’ve gotten rid of our toaster for good!

You can grab the Instant Pot 10qt Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven at most retailers, but I found it the cheapest HERE.
