Ok so I don’t usually decorate for Valentine’s Day, but in keeping with our Celebrate Everything theme this year, I added some pink, red and heart decor around the house! I’ve been sharing some sneak peeks in my Instagram stories lately, but here’s a rundown of everything I’ve got going on so far!

Valentine's Dish Towels

Dish towels are the easiest way to decorate for Valentine’s Day! They are affordable and functional – can’t beat it!

Valentine's Mugs Napkins Dishes

I have a hard time avoiding the target dollar spot – they always have the cutest holiday stuff! I grabbed this tiered basket and heart dish there on the cheap! I wasn’t sure how to use it, but decided to add some valentine’s napkins that I found at Home Goods, I’ll add some Reese’s pb hearts to the dish and I made a cute little yarn pom poms with some leftover yarn I had to add some texture!

DIY Valentine's Garland

I love this simple DIY Valentine’s Garland I made! It was SO easy! I found these felt balls on Amazon and simply thread them on embroidery thread and voila! You can hang these, line them around candles like I did or however you’d like!

DIY Valentine's Tassel Garland

When I shared my January Bucket List, everyone was really confused by the yarn tassels! I shared a DIY video HERE if you don’t know how to make them yet. Well, we’re using the yarn tassels to make a Valentine’s Garland! You can make 15-30 yarn tassels – depending how long you want your garland to be – and tie them to a simple white cord and hang! SO easy and I love how mine turned out! (For reference, my garland is 8+ feet and I used 30 tassels spaced 3″ apart. THIS is the yarn I used for my tassels – colors: white, pink, very pink, coral, cherry red and wine)
The felt heart ribbon above my tassel garland is from Walmart, but I can’t find it on their site.

One more thing I’d love to share with you guys today is 14 Days of Valentines – a fun little thing I did with the boys when they were younger. Its funny, they brought it up the other day asking if I’d do it again! I am going to figure out how to make it fun for them now that they’re teenagers to stay tuned for that BUT you can check out how I did it before HERE
