I am forever trying out new mascaras. Just like mugs, I can’t resist buying a new one every time I hit Target or Sephora! So today, I’m sharing four that I’ve been using and liking lately. I’ll let you decide for yourself which one you like the best!

One thing to note: Because I’m always calling myself out – doing this has shown me that my one eye is bigger than the other! It’s also brought out my crazy eyes, haha! Whatever, I’m sharing in hopes of helping you discover a new mascara you love!

Another note: I use this Tarte mascara primer everyday and really like it! I am also wearing it in all of these pics. It definitely helps the mascara go on smoothly without clumps and it lasts longer too! On nights I fall asleep without washing my face (we all do it), I do notice my mascara is still super fresh and intact the next morning.

Armani Beauty Eyes To Kill Mascara

The Claim: “An all-in-one defining mascara that gives natural eyelashes a false-lash effect with high-impact length, lift, and definition.”

My Opinion: Yes, it definitely lengthens, lifts and defines. I would like a little more volume from it, but there’s only so much you can do without fake lashes or lash extensions.

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara

The Claim: “A vegan mascara that delivers a 35 percent increase in curl while also lengthening, volumizing, and conditioning lashes for 24-hr smudge-proof, flake-free wear.”

My Opinion: I agree with the increase in curling, volumizing and long-lasting/flake-free wear. I don’t think its as lengthening as the other though.

Loreal Paris Bambi Eye Mascara

The Claim: “Open your eyes to Bambi Eye Mascara and discover an instant eye-opening result that volumizes and curls each lash. Bambi Eye’s black velvety washable formula glides on smoothly for lifted, elongated lashes, without clumps. The unique Wide-Eyed Brush features long and short bristles to separate and coat every lash. 4 out of 5* women saw bigger, wide-open eyes with Bambi. 90%* agreed it does not clump upon application. Lifted, curled lashes and plenty of definition for a wide, open-eyed effect are just a few swipes away with Bambi Eye Mascara.”

My Opinion: This definitely gives a wide-open eye look! It goes on smoothly and does not clump. The brush is kind of weird on this (its not the big, full brush that I usually prefer), but it works! I would venture to say, this is my favorite of all four!

Loreal Air Volume Mega Mascara

The Claim: “Ready to blow away the rules of volume? L’Oreal Paris introduces Air Volume Mega Mascara, a new evolution of mega lash volume that inflates and puffs up lashes, just like a hot air balloon, yet feels light as air (84% of women said volume feels light as air!*) How does this happen? With a new ingenius formula and packaging, Air Volume defies the rules of gravity and volume. The Air Volume formula is air whipped to create a lash multiplying effect with more volume that is weightless on lashes. This weightless mega volume and wear locks in for all day wear, lasting up to 24HRS. The key to the mega volume impact and longwear is in the lashing-building team of the the airy formula and double-bristle brush. The unique high charge, cushiony bristle brush captures, separates and coats every lash from the root to the tip for thick and full lashes. The short bristles catch and load lashes deep at the roots while the long bristles dispense the intensely black formula evenly for fully blown out lashes. The pink metallic balloon-shaped packaging protects and seals in the airy formula. Lashes are inflated and puffed up to dramatic levels of buildable volume upon each application. Hate raccoon eyes? Air Volume is smudge and flake resistant. Blow aways the rules of volume and drop the weight with Air Volume Mega Mascara.”

My Opinion: This is my newest buy and I’ve only used this one twice so far. While I love the lengthening power of this one, I expected more volume. I don’t hate it, but it’s not my favorite of the four. The packaging and bottle design is definitely cool and it has the full brush that I love! I will play with this more to see if I change my mind on it.

SO there you go, four mascaras I’ve been using lately! Which one do you like best? Are you surprised a drugstore mascara was my favorite??
