Every week on Instagram, I share What I Bought Last Week in my stories. Last week, I also shared it here and you guys loved it! So here we are again!
Last week, I did a deep dive on Clean Girl Makeup and I’m into it. I don’t like a heavy face of makeup especially in the summer. So much so that I usually just go makeup-free a lot in the summer and the clean girl makeup look is a way to do that with a tiny bit of makeup so I don’t look totally dead. Some days, makeup-free is a little scary on me. I kept reading rave reviews on the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint and decided to give it a shot with zero expectations. Y’all, it is good! It gives just enough coverage to keep the bare skin look without actually having bare skin. It also has SPF 40 so I obviously LOVE that! I just add a few drops to my hands, rub them together and smooth it over my face until its evenly covered. BIG FAN of this and used Sephora’s shade finder based on my other foundation shades and it worked really well!
Another product I grabbed was the Supergoop Glow Screen in Golden Hour. This is actually a new product. I usually wear the original one in Sunrise, but I was excited to see a bronzey option. This stuff is great! I don’t tan my face so my face and body never match and using this when I go down the shore is my new jam. It still gives great coverage from the sun with SPF 40, doesn’t clog my pores and now my face and body match! Highly, highly, highly recommend!
Lastly, I grabbed the Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Lengthening Mascara and I like it! I’m not one for big caterpillar looking lashes, but I do like some volume usually. However, since I’m going for more of a makeup-free makeup look, this mascara is perfect. It adds lots of length so your lashes look long and natural and help make my eyes pop. Def recommend!
