i’m just keeping up with the colorful trend this week, huh?
this is might be one of my favorite casual date night looks.
off the shoulder top, cute cutoffs, statement earrings and a colorful clutch. does it get any better?
this top is a low-key champ for me.
i got it from Apricot Lane Peoria – they have THE BEST selection of OTS tops on the cheap. like this one – SO cute! they always have something new coming in and they go quick, so if you do see something you like, you better order it at 11am EST when it becomes available or you will not get it. trust me on this, i’ve set alarms on my phone for certain pieces they have.
back to this top: its blue, which i don’t wear much and i kind of wasn’t sure how i wanted to style it for summer. i’ve worn it before with black jeans so why not add my new black cutoffs?! (you need them, size up for a looser fit)
i finished off the look with some neutral sandals, a statement earring (these are pure summer!) and dainty layered necklaces.
then i got bold.
i added in the a-maaaazing taj clutch (back in stock after selling out in less than a few hours before) for a fun pop of color. the hubs says it looks like a mexican rug, but i like mexican rugs so he can keep his opinions to himself 😉
so when you’re wondering what to wear on your next friday dinner al fresco, go for off the shoulder and cutoffs.
