Ok so you may be thinking, really Jill? Sneakers? I know, I made a promise at the end of 2018 that I would step outside of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion this year and even adding sneakers is a big deal to me! I like wearing athleisure (another new thing for me) on Tuesdays since I take yoga on Tuesday nights and this way, I’m in the clothes and have no excuse not to go. With that, my wardrobe is still pretty neutral, but I’m loving a fun, casual sneaker to finish it off! SO I went to a store I’ve never been to before bc if I’m wearing a trendy shoe, I don’t want to pay much for it and I’ve heard SO many people rave about this store lately so where did I go? Payless! Yup, Payless! They have some supercute sneaker options right now and very on trend!
Sizing Info:
I am a Size 7 90% of the time, but occasionally I’ll go with a 6.5, rarely a 6.5. For reference tho, I am wearing a 7 in all of the sneakers you will see here. Oh yeah, ALSO I have a wide foot so no worries about any of these being too narrow for your feet. I’m practically Fred Flintstone over here and all fit really well!
ALL THE COLOR
Ok, I saw these sneakers on Jessa Helm and was like, ‘holy crap, I cannot believe I’m about to say this but I really LOVE those sneakers!’ Dad Sneakers are a thing and as much as I thought I’d never wear them – I’m pretty much obsessed. They’re also a great dupe of this one but without the $100 price tag!
If the pink and turquoise are way too much for you, they have a neutral leopard version that are JUST as cute! I figured if I’m being bold by wearing these at all, I might as well go big but for the less adventurous, these would work!
ALL THE GREIGE
I’m all about gray so these pairs were so quick to jump on my feet! I loved this pair – they remind me of Adidas actually! These comes in multiple colors and will look cute with pretty much anything! They’re super comfy too!
I’m not sure why I grabbed these moon boots, but I’ve been seeing some gals wear them and I probably wouldn’t hate them with some distressed skinnies! These feel like you’re walking on clouds!
CLASSIC BLACK SLIP-ONS
I always see gals wearing cute slip-ons so I had to try these on! This quilted faux leather pair will work year round and they don’t dig into your heels! They come in a few colors other than black also!
Its been absolutely freezing here lately so I tried this faux fur lined pair and they feel like house slippers! These are great to throw on and go when you have to run to the store real quick!
STATEMENT SHOES
So who knew Christian Siriano did a line of shoes for Payless?? I didn’t! I loved these statement slip-ons and their message! Something we all need to remember sometimes, huh? These were also super comfy and didn’t dig in my heel either! Check out the rest of his line HERE
