Alright y’all, with Easter less than two weeks away, I knew it was time to start breaking into some self-tanner bc your girl goes from super tan in the summer to pale as can be in the winter and let me tell you, ain’t nobody wanna see these pasty white legs in my Easter dress!

Gone are the days of super-orange self tanners though! There are SO many options out there – tanning mousse, tanning drops, tanning mist…. its pretty much finding one that you like most! I have been using the St. Tropez Self Tan Classic Bronzing Mousse for years, but CVS Beauty sent me a box full of goodies last month and in it was the Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Foam and y’all, I like it better! I couldn’t believe it since I’ve been a faithful St. Tropez girl for so long!

Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Foam

Why do I like it better? Well for one, its cheaper, ha! But it gives great color and it smells like coconut! As much as I swore by the St. Tropez in the past, I could always still smell a hint of that self-tanner smell in it – you know the smell. Well this Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Foam smells just like coconut, not a speck of self-tanner smell! It goes on very smoothly with a tanning mitt (highly recommend grabbing one!), blends well and I’ve had no streaks, splotches or dark orange-y elbows, knees, ankles or wrists!

One tip when applying self-tanner, I make sure I’ve exfoliated my skin first (love this exfoliator) and that my legs are shaved as well. I put it on before I start doing my makeup and by the time I’m done hair and makeup, its dry! I put on my clothes and just go about my day! It doesn’t rub off and within a few hours, your girl is TAN!

Another self-tanning product I’ve recently added to my routine as well is this St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Face Mist for my face. After seeing Lydia Millen rave about it in all of her makeup videos, I decided to grab it! It’s more expensive than the Bondi Sands FYI – but I love spraying it on in the morning with my skincare regimen, as a setting spray for my makeup and at night when I’m done washing the day away from my face. Its a very fine mist, so refreshing and has a similar coconut smell. It gives a little hint of color which I love and looks very natural!

So there you go! Two new self-tanning products I’ve started using this past month and really loving! If you have any self-tanners YOU love, leave em in the comments for me!
