Memorial Day Weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year! For us, its about honoring those who’ve defended our country and also the official kickoff to summer! You can usually find us down the shore on MDW or hosting family and friends for a bbq at home depending upon the weather. As much as I love a charcuterie board – and you know I loooove me a good charcuterie board like I shared HERE – I do have one tried and true appetizer that is always a huge hit and super easy to make so I wanted to share it with you today!

Taco Dip Memorial Day 4th of July Party Appetizer

Taco Dip

Ingredients

1 bar of cream cheese, softened
1 container of sour cream
1 packet taco seasoning
1 jar of medium salsa
1 bag of shredded taco cheese
1 bag of shredded iceberg lettuce
1 pint of grape tomatoes, quartered
1 bag of Tostitos scoops
9oz plastic cups (if making individual servings)

Directions

Combine cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning with a hand mixer. Distribute into cups or spread at the bottom of a pie dish. Top with salsa, then cheese, then lettuce, then tomatoes. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve with tortilla chips.

These are SUPER easy to make and the individual cups are a sanitary way to have dips at your party without the risk of double dipping!

If you are hosting family and friends this Memorial Day (or 4th of July which will be here before you know it), I have a whole board of appetizer and dessert ideas HERE so pin away!
