Last year, I shared a list of what I was reading for the year and you gals enjoyed it so much that I decided to do it again this year! My goal is to always read a book each month, but sometimes that doesn’t happen. This past year, I read 9 books but in my mind, that’s better than none so let’s call it a win!
I keep a list in the Notes section of my phone with the books I want to read for the year. This helps me do two things: remember which books I want to read AND it allows me to check them off as I go!
What I Read in 2018
Wild & Free // Hayley Morgan & Jess Connolly
Magnolia Story // Chip & Joanna Gaines
Uninvited // Lysa Terkeurst
Year of Yes // Shonda Rimes

The How and Why
I know some of you may be thinking HOW does this chick plan to read a book each month and WHY?? Well its simple!
I plan on reading one chapter each day which will easily allow me to finish each book in about a month, if not less! When in the world will I do this? Well instead of grabbing my phone and scrolling thru the endless feeds I frequent, I read a chapter while I drink my coffee in the morning. Gals, I beg you to take this time for yourself whether its first thing in the morning or before bedtime. I PROMISE you, your insta-feed will still be there when you’re done! This is the WHY: bc you deserve to take some time for yourself, to feed your brain, soul or to make yourself laugh – depending upon the type of books you’re reading! We are SO quick to put ourselves last and run on empty and reading is one way to feed yourself. You need it, you know you do. So put down the phone and get to it! Don’t like to read? Download an audio book! There is literally NO excuse.
I will be sharing my plans for 2019 later this month once I’m really living in them bc I don’t want to be a hypocrite and share all kinds of info that I’m no longer doing with you. So be sure to subscribe to the blog so you don’t miss it and feel free to follow along with my book list in my amazon store, I’m constantly updating it for all of you! xo
