what i wore last week + a dreamy day trip.

If you caught my last post, “thinking spring” then this past week’s outfits will come as no surprise to you! lots of statement sleeves, ruffles and my always go-to black and white looks.

monday = the bell sleeve

i don’t know about you, but loft has been killing it with the trends for us 30+ gals! gone are the old days of loft’s ‘old lady wear’ and now its all about trends without being tacky.
this bell sleeve top is soft and heavy enough for the in-between season and my tassel necklace and half knot paired with it perfectly!

tuesday = tiered ruffle sleeve

you know my love for apricot lane – peoria, so i don’t think i need to profess my love for them much more. however, this top is perfection. i kept the rest of the look simple and since i had a fresh pedi, i broke out these gorgeous lace-up heels from where else? apricot lane – peoria.

wednesday = lovely in lace

more props for loft and this beautiful blouse. the lace and flower appliqués are so good on this. you can dress this blouse up with a pencil skirt or a wide leg pant, or dress down like i did with simple black skinnies or some ripped jeans.

thursday = nautical stripes + another bell sleeve

j.crew does nautical so right. blue and white stripes will never go out of style for spring and they’re updated here by adding the bell sleeve. simple black skinnies and a camel bootie keep it from looking too spring for the colder temps and i just HAD to add my go-to necklace combo, the celestial choker and the BACK IN STOCK luna pendant necklace which is mixed metal perfection.

friday = ruffles + stripes

its no lie, who what wear’s collection for target is my absolute favorite collaboration in target history. for real. i own many of their pieces and they do not disappoint. this stripe tank adds a ruffle to stay with the spring trends and i added a camel duster to combat the chill. my favorite ripped skinnies, gray booties and these white amala chandeliers finished it off!

saturday = black + white for the win

the hubs and i took a little day trip over to PA to visit terrain, a scenic garden cafe with the cutest shoppe! we perused their greenhouses, smelled all the goodness they have to offer and topped it off with an A-maaaazing brunch. if you are in the area, i highly recommend checking them out!
