Its my FAVORITE time of the year, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
Its just their BIGGEST SALE OF THE YEAR where they give HUGE discounts on new merchandise, which c’mon, that NEVER happens!  Think New Arrivals, Designer pieces, Back to School at a discounted price…and not like $5 OFF, I’m talking like BIG reductions! So if all of your favorite bloggers are talking about it, its a really big deal.

Ok, so I’m going to give you the inside scoop, what you need to know and some sneak peeks to prep for The Sale AND I’m approaching it a little differently than others, so read on to hear more!
ps: Noticing how I refer to it as “The Sale” and not “the sale”? That’s bc I’m for real when I say its The Biggest Sale of The Year!

When does The Sale start?

The Sale officially starts July 21st, BUT if you have a Nordstrom credit or debit card, you get Early Access to shop starting on July 13th!

Don’t want a credit card? Me either!
That’s why I have the Nordstrom Debit Card.
No fees, comes right out of my checking account AND if you get either card before July 9th, you’ll get a $20 Nordstrom Note to spend during The Sale!

BTW, a Nordstrom Note is a coupon and the more you shop with your Nordstrom card, the more of them you can earn!

Sign up for Nordstrom Rewards and get a $10 Nordstrom Note to use during The Sale!

So to recap:
Early Access starts July 13th for all Nordstrom cardholders.
Everyone Else can shop July 21st.
Last Day of The Sale is August 6th and prices go up August 7th.

Is The Sale online or in-store?

BOTH! 

You can order online and what’s fabulous about that is that Nordstrom has Free Shipping and Returns.

Another Option?
Order online and pick it up In-Store!

My favorite route?
Go to my local store, grab everything and try it all on!
That way, I know what I like, I find some surprise favorites and I get to enjoy Nordstrom’s a-maaaazing Customer Service!
Also: THIS is the time to call up your favorite sales associate and set up an appointment to shop! That way you are focused and making the most of your time and The Sale!

Quick Tip:
Items sell out FAST during The Sale! So, if you see something you like, scoop it up quick bc chances are, it’ll be gone the next day. No joking here.
Also, its not all about women’s clothing, shoes and bags.
Well I mean, it is, BUT there are also some great deals for Back to School (kids), Home Decor, Beauty, Fitness and Mens too!

How am I approaching The Sale?

First off, I try to stick to under $100 items bc let’s be real, we are not ballin’ but we still like quality pieces that will last for years to come. Some people have said to me in the past, how do you shop at Nordstrom so often? Well, its because we invest in quality, but there are also a ton of affordable lines in the store! Its a HUGE MISCONCEPTION that everything is couture, high-end designer lines.
I love snatching up some fall shoes from Sam Edelman and Dolce Vita, some great denim and on-trend tops all for under $100! The Chelsea 28 line is bringin’ it this fall for sure!
