Express Haul

I hadn’t been in Express in a minute, but I kept seeing people share the cutest stuff from there on the ‘gram, so I decided to go online and see what they had. Lots of neutrals (my fave), pops of color for spring and blazers! So. many. blazers. I was VERY surprised that when I received my order, there was only one item I’d be sending back, but the rest was just SO good!

I have been wearing blazers nonstop the past year or so. I just love how versatile they can be! I’d be on the hunt for a classic black blazer (I own a black leather blazer already) and I just love the cut of this one and the gold buttons. Its very chic and you can wear it dressed up for work or a night out OR you can dress it down like I did below for the weekend!

Another item I am LOVING from my order is this black bodysuit! (I got it in taupe too). It has compression so it sucks it in, smoothes it out and lifts em up and I will tell you, at 41, I want all of the above! I will for sure be going back to grab these in a few more colors!

Sadly, this green blazer is sold out already bc its amazing, but I found a similar one HERE and the same style but in different colors HERE. I’m not a huge color girl, but I do like kelly green – especially when I’m tan! I paired it with the bodysuit again as well as these super high-waisted light wash jeans and these nude strappy heels. The jeans fit well and I’m going to keep them bc I like how light they are and the distressing and raw hem on these are really good. I wear a 2R in Express jeans. These nude heels are also a YES for me – they’ll be perfect for when I want to dress up my jeans and also for spring/summer weddings, showeres and other events I wear skirts or dresses. You can’t beat the price on them either!

So that’s my Express haul! THIS is the top I got and am returning. Its just WAY too much boob for me, but I loved how it looked on their site. Oh well. I hope this haul gave you some ideas of good basics to add to your spring wardrobe and some outfit ideas too!
