Gals, I’m alive. We survived last week’s move (in the snow) and we’re currently getting settled in and hopefully will have some stuff on the walls soon! But I got right back in the saddle and hit up the Fitting Rooms yesterday and per my Instagram followers request, this week we’re doing The GAP!
Now let me tell you, I have not been in the GAP in like forever. I actually used to buy Hunter clothes there when he was younger, but besides that, I was always kinda ehhhh about their women’s selection. Well gals, I was pleasantly surprised! They have some great jeans, a huge assortment of tees (of course), some of their blouses remind me of Madewell to be honest AND they also have an activewear line and loungewear/underthings too!

I started this try-on sesh with activewear as the hubs and I actually joined a gym and are being very intentional about fitting a quick workout in every day bc we ain’t getting any younger! Well, Gap’s activewear line is SUPER cute with high-waisted leggings, knotted tops and strappy sports bras!
Ok so first these leggings. they fit like a glove, suck everything in and they’re high-waisted – so let’s just say ‘triple threat’ I’m wearing a small in these leggings and like I said, they fit perfectly! these come in solids and a bunch of prints, you can see the full line HERE
This top is supercute for the gym and if it wasn’t made of their gDry moisture wicking fabric, I would wear this like I would any other tie-top all the time! I’m wearing a small in this top and it comes not only in multiple colors, but like 99% of Gap’s clothes, they also offer Tall and Petite sizes!
I’m just going to jump to my favorite look from the try-on sesh, k? Why keep a good thing waiting??

I saw this top and immediately thought Madewell. Right?!! You know you see it too. This top comes in a few colors/patterns and its so lightweight and airy. Its definitely a top that you could wear for multiple occasions or styles. I’m wearing a Small in this top and love that its a little loose and looks cute with a front tuck!
Now these jeans! I was NOT expecting to really like any of the Gap’s jeans, but gals – this pair is RIDIC GOOD! When I throw a ‘ridic’ in, I mean business. These jeans fit so well, have a mid-rise, light distressing, raw hem and enough stretch to move around but not so much that they’ll stretch out! I feel like they flatter and suck you in where you need it! Totally freakin obsessed. I grabbed a 25 in these jeans (I’m a 2 in AE jeans for reference). This sweatshirt literally feels like a cloud! Its one of their SoftSpun sweatshirts and the word SOFT is key here. However while it is soft, its an airy material so you can layer it now, but its lightweight enough for warmer temps. I loved the stripes, but this also comes in a few other colors as well as camo and a gray and white colorblocked one! I’m wearing a Small in this sweatshirt and the fit is perfect!

I love a ruffle sleeve tee – if you’ve been here awhile, you know that! This one is a soft, cotton slub material and it comes in a few different colors. I’m wearing a Small in this top and it will be such a great staple for your closet!
These jeans are from their Sculpt line and what that means is they suck everything in and sculpt you some major legs and bootie! Who doesn’t want that?!! I do recommend sizing up in these – I’m in a 26 in this pair.

ok so here’s the same jeans as above, but in a 25. this pair fits super snug but the 26 were more comfortable to be honest! I do love the faded black wash and raw hem of this pair tho!
This hoodie is even softer than the softspun one above, but it is a traditional sweatshirt material unlike the other one’s airy fabric. I really loved this pale peach color with the faded black denim. I guess that’s how my craziness tolerates wearing color?? I’m wearing a Small in this sweatshirt and its a little roomy without having to size up!

I love a good basic tee and the GAP is obviously one of the OG places to grab em! This one‘s slub material is so soft and drapey and it comes in a bunch of colors. I’m wearing a Small in this t-shirt and its roomy enough to tuck or wear loose!
Everyone needs a black cardigan and this one is great basic silhouette to transition from the colder to warmer temps! It comes in a few colors and I’m wearing an XS in this cardigan.
lastly, when has it ever been a Fitting Room Diaries without a jumpsuit?

I love me some jumpsuits so if there’s one in the store, I’m trying it on! This one is wide-legged and striped and I’m kinda diggin’ it! I’m wearing an XS in this jumpsuit.
