I know you gals love my Fitting Room Diaries, but sometimes they don’t go as planned. What I had planned was to walk into Old Navy, put together the perfect outfits for fall and bring them all to you in time for Super Cash Redeem (starting Saturday 9/7!) What had happened was…. I walked into Old Navy, my store didn’t have so much in store, I did what I could and I walked out. You may be asking yourself, well what did you buy?? Well, nothing. I did like the stuff I tried on, but your gal is sitting on some major Super Cash after back to school shopping so you know I’m waiting til tomorrow to redeem it!
So this week’s Fitting Room Diaries is at Old Navy (duh!), but its a short one. I hesitated sharing this, but my Instagram followers unanimously voted to see what I tried on anyways so here we go!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.

This fall, I am swooning over all the neutral looks. Gray, black, camel, leopard, leather… I hope you like it bc it will be my JAM this season (and pretty much every past season too!) Definitely be sure to check out my Fashion Inspo Board on Pinterest. A simple gray sweater will work with so many pieces in your wardrobe – jeans, leather leggings, skirts, over dresses, everything! This one has a slightly longer back to cover your butt and if you do want some color in your life, it comes in a bunch of them! I grabbed a small in this sweater and could have done a medium for an even looser fit!

These jeans are another great pair to wear all fall long! They are high-rise with a button fly and cover all the mom stuff we sometimes try to suck in. The wash is a faded black which is a nice change from stark black denim. I feel like it gives them an edge. They also have a raw hem and hit right at the ankle. I’m only 5’3″ and wearing the regular length in these. I’m usually a 0-2/26 in jeans and grabbed a 2 in this pair. The fit is great and they have some stretch as well.

I’m really embracing the athleisure trend lately so I immediately loved this mock-neck sweatshirt. It’s a supersoft knit, has rose gold accents on the end of the strings and a pocket in the front. I love the tunic length and it would look SO cute with some leather leggings and my fave golden goose dupes! I grabbed a small in this one and the fit is perfect!

You will be seeing me in a LOT of camel this season. Its just SO chic! I love this sweater paired with light jeans, but imagine it with the black jeans above and some over-the knee black boots! Swoon! This sweater can be dressed up or down so easily and comes in a bunch of colors. I sized up to a medium in this one for a looser fit and just love those blouson sleeves – such a fun detail!

As much as I love black jeans, I’ve been eyeing a lighter pair for a fun contrast in my outfits. This pair has no distressing – I know, shocking! – but they are a slim straight leg, high-waist and I’ll be wearing these a LOT this fall! I grabbed a 2 in these jeans and the fit is perfection!

Ok, last look. I know, I told you it was slim pickings! Anyways, this french terry sweatshirt is a great basic for your wardrobe in a relaxed version of the classic sweatshirt shape. Its supersoft and cozy and you can throw it on after a workout, wear it to your kids’ games or dress it up with a sparkly statement necklace and animal print pants for a night out! Yup, you can def wear a sweatshirt for a night out! I am wearing a small in this sweatshirt.
