This doesn’t happen often so I quickly ran to my local store to try everything on for you! Good News? SUCH cute stuff right now! Bad News? Spanx is excluded from the sale! I have decided that I am definitely finally buying the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings this year, I’m just waiting for them to go on sale! Really kicking myself for not scooping them up during this year’s NSale! Ok, enough about those amazing leggings and onto the try-on sesh!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
Jumping right to the leopard here gals! This velvet leopard top is a-dorable! It has puff sleeves and is so SO cute! I picture this with jeans or some leather trousers for a girls night out or dressed up for a holiday party! Its SO soft and just so different than anything I’ve seen in store! I’m wearing a XS in this top and the fit was great!
Casual tops are my jam in the fall! You can top them with moto jackets, military jackets, ponchos and more – they’re just a great base layer for your wardrobe! I loved the cross front of this top and it is really soft too! I’m wearing a XS here and have plenty of room in this top! I would pair this top with jeans or leggings and it comes in a bunch of colors other than this deep charcoal.
Another great casual top! I LOVE the puff-sleeves on this sweatshirt, so cute! The gray is such a great neutral that’ll pair with anything in your closet, but this is also available in LEOPARD online! You know I would’ve totally tried this on in leopard if I had the chance haha! I’m wearing a Small here, but could’ve done a XS for a slimmer fit. I love this with jeans, but check it out with….
Yes, this is a LOT of color for me, but I love these two paired together! This is a sweater knit pencil skirt with stretch and just hugs all your curves but is thick enough to not show off the lumps we don’t love! I love the striped waistband too – its just SO different and would be so fun to style a bunch of different ways – with a chambray button-down, a simple modal turtleneck, graphic tee, SO MANY OPTIONS! I’m wearing a XS in this skirt and it fits very comfortably!

ok, so they have SO many great thermals right now like this striped one! I grabbed a Small in this one, but could have done an XS as well – I just wanted it a little oversized! I love that its longer in the back so it covers your butt and pairs SO well with faux leather leggings! I mean, you could throw on a jean jacket and some sneakers and look supercute for the weekend! PS: this is the point in the try-on where I’m rockin’ the spanx leggings with every look to show you how versatile they are and def worth every penny! I wear a Small in these leggings and they suck EVERYTHING in, but feel like you don’t have pants on!
thermal | faux leather leggings
I loved this thermal bc its a boxy cut and just a great basic to add to your fall wardrobe! I’m wearing a Small here and the fit is perfect – loose, but I’m not swimming in it! It comes in a bunch of colors online – I’m grabbing the gray for sure!

So this cross front style of top is definitely a trend – there were so many tops with this silhouette in store! I love this one especially bc its a twist on your basic white blouse! The cross front has a modesty snap so the girls don’t come popping out and its longer in the back to cover your butt! It looks too cute with the faux leather leggings, but would pair well with pretty much any bottoms! For reference: I am wearing a Small in this top.

I’m a HUGE fan of kimonos so this leopard one quickly caught my eye! Kimonos just add a little something to any look and this is the perfect example! Above, this simple cross front blouse and leggings needed a little something and this kimono did just that! It also comes in a darker leopard print and its one size fits all!

And for the Grande Finale… THIS PONCHO!
Gals, I just about died when I put this poncho on! I just LOVE it!
The fringe, the texture, the slouchiness – its just too good!! Now, I do not normally spend this much on a sweater, but I know myself and I will wear this nonstop! You can throw it on top of anything and it’ll be perfect for those freezing office days! I just love love love it! Ok, I’ll stop. I’m wearing a XS/S in this poncho and its straight up perfection.
