The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming and being the gal that I am, I am giving you all the info you need to shop the best sale of the year and score all of the goodies before they sell out!  So as you prep for this bargain bonanza, here’s the deets you need to know!

What’s the difference between Early Access vs. Public Access?

Sounds fancy right?  “Early Access”
Well, you do not need to be a blogger, celebrity or anything fancy to get Early Access to The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but you do need to be a Nordstrom Cardholder.  I know, you’re sitting there saying to your screen, “Gal!  I do NOT need another credit card!”  Well don’t fret bc one, I don’t use credit cards so I wouldn’t promote them and two, there’s a debit card option which I do have!  No credit to worry about, it pulls the money right out of your account.  So then you’re sitting there like, “Why don’t I just use my own debit card then??”  Well thats bc your own debit card doesn’t get you the perks that the Nordstrom Debit Card does!

What are those perks?

• In-Store Pickup!  Order it online, pick it up in-store!  My local Nordstrom in Cherry Hill also has curbside pickup where you tap a button in the app to let them know you’re on your way, tap another button when you get there and they literally bring it out to you at the curb!  No fighting for a parking spot in these steamy summer temps, just pull up in the comfort of your air conditioned car and your sale items are hand delivered to you!  I mean, how incredible is that?!!
• Earn Points!  Earn 2 points per dollar spent in stores and online at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, HauteLook and Trunk Club.
• Nordstrom Notes!  For every 2,000 points you earn, you’ll get a $20 Note PLUS you’ll get a $40 bonus Note when you make any purchase on your new card the day you’re approved!

What is the Big Deal about The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?!!!

I got so many DMs on Instagram last year about this sale.  The most common questions I got were:  “What is the Big Deal about this sale?” and “How can you afford to shop at Nordstrom?”

Well for one, this sale is a big deal bc New Arrivals are marked down big time!  Usually Nordstrom’s sales come at the end of a season when they need to get rid of the few sizes left in some items.  This sale is New Arrivals for late summer and fall marked down when they first hit the website and stores.  That’s kind of a big deal bc that literally never happens anywhere, let alone Nordstrom!

And secondly, the common misconception with Nordstrom is that everything costs a million dollars and it doesn’t.  Guys, we’re living off a pastor’s salary and my Stella & Dot fun money, we could not afford those prices you’ve been thinking of all this time if that were true.  Does Nordstrom have some high-end designer stuff?  They sure do BUT they also have some great quality, affordable options and those are the ones I shop!
