In true Fitting Room Diaries form, I hit my local J.Crew store to try on their 2018 Women’s Fall Collection and there was some SUPER cute stuff!! I branched out a bit with some color and experimented with some textures too!

As you’ll see, I was kinda diggin’ this pumpkin-ish mauve color… This blouse (despite its wrinkles) is very flowy and has a cute drawstring lower arm however its a little too low cut for me, so I would wear a tank underneath it! Cute with some distressed jeans or tucked into a pencil skirt for work!
These jeans fit SO cute and TTS (true to size) and I’m loving their high-waist distressed hem! their lighter wash are SO on trend – I honestly haven’t worn dark blue jeans in foreverrrrr – and they have some stretch too!

I know, this is NOT my typical kinda top, but I was drawn to it for some reason. I liked its boho vibe and the whole Point Sur Collection honestly feeds that Cali Boho vibe that I love!

I’m pretty sure I owned this exact top a few years ago and loved it… but not really sure what happened to it! Haha, shopaholic problems?? Anyways, when I do wear color, I usually gravitate towards red and this cap sleeve top is perfect on its own, under a cardi (as shown below) or a moto jacket or blazer – just get it, k?

I’ve received a ton of requests for blazers lately and to be honest, I don’t normally wear blazers. I don’t have anything against them, I’m just more of a cardigan/moto jacket kinda gal BUT I’m totally loving this slightly shrunken boucle version! I added a fun graphic tee underneath and knotted it for a more casual look – I would also LOVE a big statement necklace like this one on top!

Ok so this is your OFFICIAL WARNING:
Leopard will be EVERYWHERE this fall, like more than usual, so grab a few leopard pieces now! This sweatshirt is made of merino wool which means its the softest thing EVER! I grabbed a medium in this for a slightly looser fit and its just heaven!

So you cannot walk into J.Crew and not grab a striped shirt. Seriously, it’s impossible. This classic boatneck, 3/4 length sleeve in navy/white stripe needs to make it into your closet at one point in your life. You can style this ANY way: classic, feminine, edgy, rocker, glam – the possibilities are endless!

Velvet is always a cold-weather trend, but I loved it in tank top form! This tank comes in quite a few colors and you can dress it up for holiday parties, date night or or gals night out or dress it down with some ripped jeans and a cozy cardigan as shown below!

This look is my fave from the whole try-on sesh! I love the varying shades of blue against the ivory – so cozy and chic!
I know what you’re thinking, “FINALLY a different pair of jeans!”
Well this pair ran big (esp since they’re a slim boyfriend jean), but I had to wait for the sales associate to bring me a 25 and so they’re making a late appearance in this Fitting Room Diaries!
Honestly, I didn’t love these jeans, I’m more of a tight jegging kinda gal, but the step hem on these are adorable and if you like slim boyfriend jeans, these are for you! (size down tho!)
The ruffle trend isn’t going anywhere and I love J.Crew’s version of this sweatshirt bc it just might be the softest thing I’ve ever touched!! (check out a cheaper version of this top HERE)

They’re more hit or miss for me and a lot of you DM’d me saying how surprised you were that I even shop at J.Crew but they have great basics and some seasonal styles that are excellent quality and their sales are great too – I never pay full price here!
