Loft Fitting Room Diaries / January 2019

Happy Wednesday gals!
I’m kicking the day off with the first Fitting Room Diaries of 2019 and I chose LOFT bc its the most requested retailer from you guys and its the one that you all shop the most so #nobrainer, right?!! Like I mentioned in The Weekly Recap, V.2018, I will be doing a Fitting Room Diaries post every Wednesday as you all seem to love these! I mean, I get it – I go into the stores, give you the deets on what’s cute, how it fits and when its on sale and all you have to do is click Add to Cart and voila! cute outfit, no mall madness!

You know me, I cannot resist ALL the neutrals! This cozy cardigan is just that, COZY! I love the edging, its softness, shawl collar and POCKETS! Pockets are just always a win! Wearing an XS in this cardigan and it fits perfect!

A simple tee will always grab my attention, especially one with a 3/4-length sleeve. I’m always one to load up on tanks and short-sleeved tees, but for some reason, I always ignore a longer sleeved one. I don’t know gals, I never said I was sane! Anyways, I love the double-scoop of this one and the shirttail hem. I went with a small in this one bc it IS fitted and I don’t know about you, but I don’t prefer my tops to be super fitted in the midsection. This also comes in black if you’re not feelin’ the gray!

Ok so these jeans. I was LOVING them, but I cannot find them on their site yet! As soon as I do, I will update this post with the link for you, but in the meantime – here’s a similar pair! I’m wearing a 25/0 in these and usually wear a 2/26 in most brands (AE, Express, Levi’s).

LOFT Sandwashed Wrap Top in Sea Rock Green January 2019 Jillian Rosado

I’ve been really loving wrap tops lately – been wearing this one and this one on repeat – so obviously I was loving this top at first site! The color is really pretty too – yes, I just said that. This non-color wearing gal said those words. I grabbed an XS here and its a stretchy material however there is no modesty snap on this (like my other ones have) so its very boobalicious which I shy away from usually. I would consider layering my favorite Always Tank under it for a fun pop of lace while covering the girls up!

Stripes are my JAM. Seriously, I’ve never met a stripe I didn’t like and this blouse was no exception! I love the mixed stripes on this one, the slight puff to the sleeve and it can be dressed up or down in SO many ways! I grabbed a S in this one and its just an all around YES for me!

I feel like LOFT is killing it with the sweatshirt game lately – I cannot stop wearing this one! And I mean cute sweatshirts, not like gym sweatshirts. So this gray one is adorable – its flecked with a bunch of colors, super duper soft and it has a crossover back! I went with a S in this one and its roomy but not oversized or too loose.

I really need to stop buying distressed jeans, but I was loving this pair! They have minimal distressing, but a finished hem so I quick-cuffed them. I’ve never tried the “curvy” style of denim at LOFT but these fit my booty a little better than the “modern” style so if you’re a curvy gal – these are for you! No waist popping out in the back bc you’ve got a little junk in the trunk – its the WORST when that happens, am I right?!! Nobody likes a gaping waist! I’m wearing a 25/0 in these jeans.

Red? Yes, red! I mentioned on Instagram that I would be trying to go outside my comfort zone in my fashion choices in 2019 and I know it sounds silly, but reaching for a red top is a big step for me gals! BUT when it has the most adorable ruffle cuff, how can you NOT love this?? If the red is terrifying you, it also comes in black – ol’ faithful! I grabbed a S in this one and its a little loose and perfect for a front tuck too!

I mean, I don’t wanna act like we covered it first, but this sweater sure looks a LOT like our Side-Zip Sweatshirt…. just sayin! Anyways, I love the tan color of this tunic sweater and these side zips make it supercute! Not itchy if you’re worried about that either! It also comes in red and I grabbed an XS in this one!

Ending on a simple note and stripes bc who doesn’t love a striped tee?? I liked this gray & white striped tee to step away from the typical black & white stripes for once! I grabbed a small here and its plenty roomy – I could have gone with an XS. What I love most about this soft tunic tee is its side slits! So if you’re not feeling a front tuck, you can wear this loose too! DEF a great everyday tee and would look great under the cozy cardigan!
