I love polling my Instagram followers to see where they’re shopping, what they’re looking for and what outfits they wear most and they told me a few things. They love Old Navy, Target, LOFT and AE, they’re looking for all the best sales and their go-to look is t-shirt and a pair of shorts soooooo I took that info and got creative. I LOVE Cotton On. It’s not a very well known store, but they have some great graphic tees, bodysuits and on trend basics on the cheap. I usually describe it as an affordable Urban Outfitters. So this week’s Fitting Room Diaries are at my fave Cotton On and I hope introducing some of you to this store will help add some great finds to your wardrobe!
Quick Warning: Cotton On’s Dressing Rooms legit have THE WORST lighting ever so I apologize for the picture quality here!
I stuck with the group consensus and focused on tshirt and shorts outfits, but before we get started, here are my usual sizes:
I’m 5’3″ and weigh about 130lbs. I usually wear an XS/S in tops (I’m a 34D) and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
Just a heads up: All of their graphic tees are 2 for $25!!
When you see me in a bodysuit, it’s from Cotton On! They have a cute selection of them and they’re not crazy expensive. This ribbed one comes in a few different colors – I wear a small in these. These light wash paperbag shorts are high-waisted, very on trend and have a super comfy elastic waistband in the back. I am wearing these in a 4 here, but could wear a 2 as well for a more fitted look.
Another bodysuit – they’re that good you guys! This henley one is also ribbed and comes in a few colors, however this blush one is not available online – I’m wearing a small in it. I was actually loving the blush with these white cutoffs and a good tan! The shorts here are a 6, but I definitely needed a 4 – they just didn’t have them in-store. They’re a really cute pair of white cutoffs to add to your closet!
Every gal needs a blondie tank, am I right?? This one is slightly cropped and would look cute with a pretty bandeau or bralette underneath – I’m wearing a small. These shorts came home with me and will be perfect for summer! They’re high-waisted, lightweight and come in a few colors, but I went for the olive green – I’m wearing a 4 in these and they’re only $14.95 – woot woot!!
Same shorts, but this time with a leopard “amour” tee – you really didn’t think we’d make it through a Fitting Room Diaries without something leopard, did you?? I’m wearing a small in this tee and had plenty of room to knot it up!
I don’t know if you know this about me, but I was (still am) OBSESSED with The Doors in middle school. Legit love Jim Morrison. Anyways, HAD to have this tee (not available online yet tho!) and loved it paired with these paperbag plaid shorts! These shorts are so out of character for me, but I was imagining all of the different outfits I could put together with these! I’m wearing a small in the tee and a 4 in the shorts.
This gal needs a vacay stat, so I had all the heart eyes for this cali graphic tee! I had to knot it bc I mean, why wouldn’t you?!! I paired it with this adorable little skirt – high-waisted, stretchy waistband with a slight flare at the bottom! I’m wearing a small in both the t-shirt and the skirt. ps: the skirt is only $20!
Lastly, more leopard. Duh, no brainer! This leopard tee is THE cutest – superlight and only $5!!! I paired it with the denim paperbag shorts from the first outfit and I really love these paired together – too freakin cute! I’m wearing a small in the tee and a 4 in the shorts.
So that’s my quick Fitting Room Diaries at Cotton On for this week! I would love to hear which look you’re loving most – be sure to head over to my Instagram for the full try-on sesh with videos and comment on my post with your fave!
