The 4th of July is almost here – can you believe it?!! With that, I always see girls wearing the cutest festive clothes and I’m sitting over here in a black tank like ummmm… Ok I’m lying, I was ON IT this Memorial Day with the cutest stars tank and heart sunnies, but it was only bc we had a huge memorial day cookout with our Sewell location. If it wasn’t for that, I would’ve been in my black tank and cutoffs per usual. Anyways, as I was browsing the LOFT sale (get 40% off your purchase!), I noticed they had some ADORABLE looks that would make for the cutest 4th of July outfit so I went to my local store and tried them all on!
For Reference: I’m 5’3″ and weigh about 130lbs. I usually wear an XS/S in tops (I’m a 34D) and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
I love rompers you guys, almost as much as I love jumpsuits! You will be seeing this one by Lou + Grey on me on repeat this summer. Its SO soft, its SO cute, it has pockets and its included in the 40% off promo! I knowwwww I couldn’t believe Lou + Grey was a part of it either!! I’m wearing an XS in this romper and it fits perfect!
I had SUCH high hopes for this dress! Its so cute, its so lightweight, navy and white stripes are so summer and SO patriotic, but unfortunately if you are busty, this will not work for you! The dreaded gap! I was going to size up but then the skirt of the dress would be too big. Why did I still include this?? Well, if you aren’t busty, its the cutest freakin dress ever and you need it! I’m wearing an 0 here in this dress.
there’s something about chambray that just screams ‘4th of July’ – am I right?!! The paperbag waist trend is not going anywhere anytime soon and wide leg pants are coming in hot so they paired these two trends and birthed the softest, most comfy pants ever! They are mid-rise and I’m wearing a small in this top and an XS in the pants.
you cannot go wrong with stripes on the 4th like I said above and this wrap top is just what you need! Its a lightweight fabric and has a modesty snap so the girls don’t fall out at your neighborhood bbq! I loved pairing it with these light wash jeans, but you could easily switch them out with shorts if you live in warmer temps! I’m wearing a XS in this top and a 25 in these jeans.
ok, before we talk about this blouse, can we talk about how freakin’ cute these shorts are?!!! It may be hard to see here, but they have the cutest little tie at each hem – be sure to check my instastory for a better look bc they are SO cute! They also fit really well and have a good amount of stretch to them. This blouse is so blatantly 4th of July-esque with its red and blue stripes and you could easily wear it throughout the year – light enough for summer and perfect for work in the fall and winter! I’m wearing a XS in this blouse and a 26/2 in these shorts.
Another super festive fabric for the 4th? Eyelet! It just screams summer. This eyelet tank is super cute and can literally go with anything in your summer wardrobe! I’m wearing a XS in this top.
Sailor shorts are SO 4th and why not pair them with a blue and white striped tank?!! This tank is super soft and has a swing shape to it. I would add black skinnies to this top on a chillier night for a less festive look. These white sailor shorts fit like a glove and have a great amount of stretch to them. I’m wearing an XS in this top and a 25 in these shorts.
This lightweight star sweatshirt is perfect for the night of the 4th while you’re curled up with your hubs and kids watching the fireworks! Its supersoft and quintessentially 4th of July! I paired it with these drawstring denim shorts – SO COMFY – omg its insane! I’m wearing an XS in this top and an XS in the shorts.
