We are in the thick of all the fall weather and I am HERE for it! Give me all the leather, cozy sweaters, lots of layers and more! I hit my local Old Navy and I swear, every time I go in there with zero expectations, they bring it! I was loving pretty much everything I tried on, but to avoid Mike killing me, I only went home with a few pieces. We’re about that Dave Ramsey life. So without further adieu, here’s this week’s Fitting Room Diaries sharing some Fall Style with Old Navy!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
I don’t wear many dresses this time of year, but I’m really loving this one! We have a wedding rehearsal in two weeks and I will surely be wearing this with a moto jacket and maybe these booties! I definitely suggest upping the edge factor of this dress to avoid looking like a pentecostal girl. I’m wearing a Small in this pic, but ended up grabbing the XS for a slimmer fit. This dress comes in a few colors if you’re looking for something different than basic black.
say hello to your easy fall weekend outfit! this utility jacket is the perfect topper for any look – throw it over a graphic tee and joggers, a casual dress, etc. You name it, it’ll work! I’m wearing a Small in this jacket here and have plenty of room for a sweater, but there’s also drawstrings inside to create more of a waistline. This one also comes in a few colors, but olive green is my #1 pick!
the tunic sweater underneath is a great basic to add to your fall wardrobe. You can wear it long or do a little front tuck like I did below. It comes in a bunch of colors and I’m wearing a Small here.
wrap tops are uber-flattering on all body types so long as its not too low cut and this one is too good! Its a ribbed-knit and comes in a few colors, but you know me – basic black for the win! I’m wearing a Small in this top
These jeans on the other hand fit really well, but the holes are at the bottom of my thighs instead of at my knees like they should be. Its just kinda weird and a no for me.
So I realized after I got the poncho from my Anthro Try-On that I have ZERO plain long-sleeve tees. They’re all thermals or oversized, but nothing simple or basic. Well, this tee to the rescue! Its super affordable, has some stretch to it, isn’t see-through and comes in a million colors! I grabbed a Small in this one.
These jeans are my JAM. They’re almost out of stock online, but they had a ton in my store. They’re high-waisted with a slimmer cropped wide-leg – if that makes sense? I grabbed a 2 in these and the fit is perfect!
This coat is all over instagram and I get it. Houndstooth is a big trend for fall, as always, and this is a great topper! It runs a little big so a sweater will fit perfectly underneath. I really love the mod look happening here! I’m in a XS by the way so don’t size up in this one.
You know me and my leopard, I feel like I don’t even need to say anything anymore! Let’s just assume from here on out, every Fitting Room Diaries will have leopard in it, k? Cool! Ok so this coat. First of all, its SO freakin soft! I love that its a gray/brown muted leopard so it goes with pretty much everything. I’m wearing an XS here and have plenty of room in this – def don’t size up!! This coat is def a great one to grab for fall!

I love me a good cardi coat and this one is goooood! I love this burnt orange color and the texture of the weave on this one! It def runs big – I’m in a XS here. I will be throwing this cardi coat over everything this fall! Check it out with some leopard below!

This leopard tee is supercute and affordable! I love this monochromatic gray leopard print! Its a great intro to leopard if the print intimidates you. I’m wearing a Medium in this tee for a looser fit!
This polka dot sweatshirt is supercute for the weekend or you could dress it up too! I love the v-neck and sized up to a Medium for a slouchier fit. This one comes in multiple colors and prints, but I was feelin’ the polka dots!
