Allright gals, this week I hit the Old Navy fitting rooms before we left for LA in hopes to find a ton of Thanksgiving Outfits for you. Well, I found some cute basics and casual Thanksgiving looks, but to be honest, I wasn’t hugely impressed with their selection – always keepin’ it 100 with ya! Anyways, here’s some casual looks that you can rock on Turkey Day (or whenever!) and its all 40% Off this weekend – woot woot! Be sure to check out my last try-on HERE for some other goodies you can add to your cart with this sweet discount!
This week’s Fitting Room Diaries starts NOW!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
Ok so if your fam keeps it casual but not “jeans casual,” these pants are a great alternative! They fit like a legging, but have buttons and pockets and there’s stretch for when you eat ALL the turkey! I’m wearing a 2 in these and have plenty of room – they also come in a bunch of other colors and prints. I paired them with a simple, loose henley blouse – perfect to hide a food baby post dinner! I’m in a small in this top as well and have plenty of room in it – comes in some other colors and prints too!
Mike calls this my “Steve Jobs look” – he thinks he’s just too funny, huh? I’m not usually a turtleneck kinda gal, but I’m really loving them lately! I grabbed this slim fit one in a small and love that it has a little stretch to it! It will look cute under a slip dress or just with some jeans like I did here. These jeans have a mid rise and distressing and I love the faded black wash. I’m wearing a 2 in these and the fit is great!
I love simple, neutral sweaters for fall and the little poms on this one really caught my eye! This sweater has a relaxed fit just how I like it – I’m in a small here. I paired it with the same jeans as above and its a great casual look for Thanksgiving or any day!
For those of us who keep it supercasual, I just had to go for this leopard top and ripped jeans. I mean, you know who I am, you know what I like gals! This top is looser and cute, another perfect one to hide food babies. This comes in a few other colors/prints if leopard isn’t your thing. I’m wearing a Small in this one. These jeans are another mid-rise pair with just enough distressing. I grabbed a 2 in these and the fit is great!
Ok so here’s a pseudo-dressy option for you! This midi striped turtleneck dress has stretch to it, but its not skin tight – I’m wearing a Small. I would pair this with a moto jacket, some statement earrings and booties. There were a bunch of other dresses in the store, however they weren’t really my style. Most had that school marm/peasant-vibe going and I just wasn’t into it!
