we’re going on vacation in less than two weeks and let me tell you, it cannot come quick enough. this gal (and the hubs and our boys) really need some rest, relaxation and fun!

is it just me or does everyone have a hard time waiting to wear their new finds til vacay?!! I had to bust out a few things, especially with the spike in temps here this week. (hellloooooo 95 degrees!)
anyways, i’d had my eye on this kimono for awhile and i know what you’re thinking:
“jill, that is the most floral, colorful thing i’ve ever seen! where are your neutrals?!!!”
i know, i know, but i am just loving this and it looks fab over everything, am i right?!!
secondly, if you don’t have a pineapple tee this summer, who are you?!! they are the epitome of summer! there is a HUGE assortment of them out there and while mine isn’t available anymore, i linked up a ton of them for you.

lastly, these sandals.
i’d been looking for a black slide, but nothing was speaking to me and i have a high instep so this style of sandal is hard to get on for me. fast forward to DSW. found this pair and the stretchy strap is perfection! also, i was loving the contrasting sole and under $50 price tag.
oh and i lied, this is the lastly part:

no, this is NOT the cult gaia ark bag that you see every fashion blogger carrying.
this is the ‘walk into tj maxx to buy the boys some Nike tees, walk past the bag section, HOLD UP, rewind, WHAT IS THAT BAG?!!!’ version of the ark bag.
