One store that my Instagram followers have been wondering about lately is Abercrombie. Yes, that store that you loooooved in high school and bought ALL the logo tees and comfy sweatpants from while immersing yourself in a cloud of their cologne upon entering the store. They’ve made quite the comeback in the past year or so! I was hesitant to give them a shot bc it just brought back so many memories and in my mind, I was NOT wearing any more A&F logo tees as long as I live. Well gals, they have some really freakin’ cute stuff!! So this week’s Fitting Room Diaries is coming to you from the one and only Abercrombie – a store full of great basics and denim!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
Have you gals jumped on the bodysuit train yet? I’m all about them and could.not.resist. this one! I mean, how stinkin cute and sassy is this one?? Perfect for date night or a night out with the gals! I love it paired with these mom jeans, but it also looks cute with cutoffs (below) and you could also pair it with some paperbag waist shorts, a skirt or anything for that matter! I tried on a small in store and while it fit snug, I felt the medium would be a better fit for me, so I ordered this bodysuit online in a medium.
I love me some mom jeans and really loved the slim fit of these! I grabbed a 26/2 in this pair and they are everything! High-waisted, distressed, its just oh so good! These don’t have any stretch to them so you’ll want them to fit snug at first bc they will give a bit as you wear them. These are currently Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off and if you’re thinking about jumping on the mom jeans trend, I def recommend grabbing these in your usual size!
Same bodysuit, but this time with these cutoff shorts! I would say these shorts fit the same as the jeans above! I love the distressing on these and they cover my butt which is a must at my age! Just like the jeans, these have no lycra or spandex in them, so I would stick to your true size and go for a snug fit at first wear!
Every gal needs a striped tee and I probably have too many to be honest, but this one is SO supersoft and the perfect closet staple! I grabbed a small in this tee and its the perfect length to knot or front tuck! I’m wearing the same shorts as I wore with the bodysuit above just to show the versatility of them casual with a simple tee or “dressed up” with a bodysuit.
Same shorts, but this time with this ribbed crew neck tee! This tee is super soft and comes in a bunch of colors. I am loving it tucked in with these shorts, but you could also knot it! Its just a great basic top that you could wear with anything! I’m wearing a small in this tee and while its fitted, its not TOO fitted, if you know what I mean!

I’ve seen these shorts on a ton of my blogger friends so I had to give them a shot. I’m always weary of longer cutoff shorts since I am short (5’3″) and they sometimes make my legs look supershort, but I am really loving this pair! While they are definitely different than what I’d normally wear, but I think they look adorable with this knotted tee (only $9! – I’m wearing a small) or even with a cropped shirt since they are a higher rise and you won’t see your belly button! I am wearing my usual 26/2 in these and I would definitely NOT size up in them!

Ok, if you are in need of v-neck tees OR if you just love v-neck tees, you need to grab one (or a few) of these! These tees are super soft and drapey, come in six colors and are only $18 or 3 for $39! I just really loved these gals! They can be knotted or front tucked as seen here with these button-fly cutoffs! I’m wearing a small in this tee and could’ve done an XS for less of a loose fit! These high-rise button fly jean shorts are really cute too! I love the little notch on each side of the hem to loose the leg a little bit however these are a little short in the back so if you don’t prefer a short-short, I wouldn’t grab this pair, but if you do, go for it – they’re supercute! I’m wearing my usual 26/2 in these!
Ok, you gals know me – I cannot resist leopard so when I saw this skirt, I HAD to have it! Bonus: Its on clearance so its an Extra 35% Off making it only $18.85! I sized up to a 27/4 in this one. Bad news: It’s only available in very limited sizes. They also have shorts in the same print and they’re on clearance as well for $24.88, but again, only in limited sizes. I did find a similar leopard skirt HERE if you are loving it and have to have it. However, let’s chat about THIS TANK! This is a closet essential that you will be able to wear year round with literally anything! For summer, I would pair it with shorts, a skirt, under a kimono, etc. I’m wearing a small in this ribbed henley tank and grabbed it in both black and white however it also comes in a few other colors and get this – its only $18!! So yeah, you need this tank asap – its new to the site and sure to sell out super quick!
