Hey gals! This week’s Fitting Room Diaries is at Express per the request of my Instagram followers! I used to get a lot of my jeans from Express, but forgot about them to be honest and after one of my friend’s urging me to try em out again, I was pleasantly surprised! They have some really cute stuff in store and this weekend, Everything is 40% Off except for Jeans which are 50% Off! Definitely a great time to snag some goodies!
Before we proceed, my usual sizing for reference:
I’m 5’3″, weigh about 130lbs and am a 34D.
I usually wear an XS/S in tops and dresses and a 0-2/26 in bottoms.
Additional Note: I wear a 2R in AE jeans and am wearing a 0R in the jeans shown here.
You can’t go wrong with a striped sweater for fall. This one has a circle hem and I love that its longer in the front and back! It would look really cute with faux leather leggings, right?!! It also front tucks really well if you don’t want the longer length. I did a Small in this sweater and had plenty of room in it! PS: Not itchy at all!
These jeans – you guys! I used to wear Express jeans a lot, but AE took over and I forgot about them. Well, let. me. tell. you. These are their Perfect Fit High-Waisted Jeans and gals… they are gooooood!! They legit suck everything in, lift your butt, smooth your stomach down – I freakin love em! This pair has a raw hem with a zip up the side and obviously came home with me! I’m wearing a 0R in these jeans.
cami | knit blazer | cardigan | jeans
I’d seen this cami on a friend of mine and decided I had to add it to my closet. You can’t go wrong with a black cami and I’m loving the lace edging on it! I’m wearing a Small in this cami and it comes in 10 colors so stock on up gals! PS: the straps are adjustable.
These jeans are another pair of their Perfect Fit Jeans and just like the pair above, the fit is amazing! I really wanted to grab these, but my Old Navy pair is the exact same wash, button-fly and rise so I restrained myself! I’m wearing a 0R in this pair of jeans.
To show two ways to style this cami and jeans combo, I added this knit blazer that is OH so soft and a great topper for fall! It does run big – I’m in a Small here – but they didn’t have an XS in store which would’ve fit me better. There are SO many things you could throw this blazer over so its definitely a great choice for fall!
This fuzzy cardigan is SO freakin soft, like crazy soft, and you could do so much with a camel cardigan! I grabbed a Small in this one and the fit is great!
lace blouse | jeans | knit blazer
This lace blouse quickly caught my eye – how pretty is this emerald green color?!!! The lace front is SO pretty and the hem and cuffs both have elastic so they stretch to wear you want/need them to! This blouse comes in six colors and I grabbed a Small in it. I’m wearing the black jeans from above and added the knit blazer to give you another idea of how to wear it!
You gals know I loooove me a good jumpsuit and after grabbing this one in the spring – it was such a good grab! – I had to give this one a shot! This jumpsuit has a cap sleeve, zippers up the back, POCKETS and a cute tie-front sash! It comes in 4 colors, but again, I was loving this emerald green! What I love about the style of this jumpsuit is you could dress it up with heels and some sparkly earrings for a fall wedding or girls night out OR you could dress it down, like I did on the right, with a moto jacket and mules! I’m all about getting multiple wears out of my clothes and this jumpsuit does just that!
