this poncho was a little late to the party when we released the new spring collection, but let me tell you – it is worth the wait!
mine arrived (after i impatiently chose overnight shipping) last friday and i’m not going to lie to you, i wore it friday night, saturday and monday. #cantstopwontstop

i’ve shared before my skincare issues and how adult acne has gotten ahold of my once zit-free face – you can read about my skincare routine here. so i’ve started up a much-needed regimen of unblemish again to clear up this mess!
something i love to use in addition to unblemish is my clairsonic.

i grabbed this book last year, actually i preordered it, but i went about three chapters in and then life distracted me. so now that i’m moving on to my third book of my 2018 reading resolution, now was as good of time as ever to dive back in from the beginning.
i love how lysa terkeurst writes. she’s so relatable, is filled with so much wisdom and has lived life… and lived it loved. (you’ll understand that better once you start reading this one)

uninvited is about living loved when you feel less than, left out or lonely. i don’t think there is one of us who can honestly say we haven’t felt at least one of those at one time in our life or another. so if you’re looking for a pick me up, this one is a must-read and you for sure won’t be putting it down!

we’ve been inundated with snow and cold temps lately so i’ve been constantly reaching for our crockpot and comfort foods. i collect so many recipes over on pinterest so this one was up next in my board. it does not disappoint!
the beef is so tender, the flavors amazing and its filling enough for the whole family, even one filled with insatiable tween boys. i was unsure about parsnips and turnips but i could barely tell the difference between them and the potatoes – and neither could the kids! i added some cornbread on the side and it was the perfect winter’s night meal!
