Every Tuesday, I share a reel on Instagram of me putting an outfit together and they turn out to be some of your most-loved reels – with the exception of our fam challenges, ha! This week, I decided to shop my closet! I have some “statement pieces” that I absolutely love and will pass on at some point, but for now, I reach for them occasionally and fall in love with them all over again every time I do!
I love the contrast of business and casual with this outfit. I’m lucky that I can literally wear whatever I want for work. I also like the pairing of the longer vest and tank with shorts. It just gives a little edge in my mind. Since my tops are longer, I added a little heel to create a longer line.
I got the blazer vest last year from H&M and its such a great neutral classic piece! I wear it just as I would a blazer. My peplum tank is like 5yrs old and from the Who What Wear line at Target. I’ve styled this SO many different ways over the years and it never disappoints! My black jean shorts are from this year as are my sandals and sunglasses. My leather tote is from Madewell and such a classic! You can wear this one for years to come! Lastly, my necklaces, bracelet and rings are all vintage Stella & Dot and my earrings are from Amazon.
