so you know, i go to j.crew to return a shirt and casually stop in to loft since i have a $20 coupon and next thing i know, i have pretty much every piece from their fall collection in my arms all starry eyed and glowing. LOFT, ya done good! the fall collection is legit bananas.
here’s the good, the better and like two passes….
look one:
this burgundy lace drop waist dress.
its super cute, but just didn’t fit me right. too loose in the wrong places, but its so so pretty.
verdict: pass.
look two:
this spotted flounce dress.
even tho i love me some leopard, i don’t wear it as a print too often. this option is so cute bc its like a muted, neutral leopard. i’m thinking this with some booties + a leather jacket. oh yeah + its marked down plus an extra 40% off.
verdict: yes please.
look three:
back button two-in-one sweater + marissa fit leggings in dark desert cactus (aka olive skinnies)
i looooove this top. you like loose, layered tops for fall? run to loft, seriously. it also buttons all the way up the back which is a cute detail. these skinnies are really cute + a mid-rise. so yeah, this whole look with a big necklace like this and some cute booties.
verdict: oh kale yeah!
look four:
striped peplum tee + my new fave olive skinnies.
i mean, this is like the holy grail. stripes? peplum? SOLD. nothing left to say about this, its a no brainer.
verdict: BUY THIS TOP!
look five:
mixed media peplum top + olive skinnies.
i really, really love these layered tops. i got one last fall from olivia palermo’s line at nordstrom + i never went back. so there are lots of tops in this style in different colors, prints + materials.
verdict: yes.
look six:
striped lace-up blouse + olive skinnies.
i liked the idea of this blouse but its a little too low cut for me + i just wasn’t completely sold on it. it was on sale tho.
verdict: pass.
look seven:
lacy flutter shell in marble onyx + denim legging jeans.
this is a cute sheer blouse to carry you into fall. i would throw a cardigan over it for when it gets chilly.
verdict: maybe if it was on a good sale.
look eight:
brushdot peplum shell + denim legging jeans.
this is a supercute blouse and would work with a cozy cardigan + leather jacket.
verdict: yes.
look nine:
lou + grey sweater tank + denim legging jeans.
i’m usually not one for sweater tanks, but this one got me. the deep hunter green color is gorgeous for fall + i don’t know, i just liked it.
verdict: sure!
