its been a crazy week.

you know those weeks where you’re busy, busy, on the go and don’t seem to get anything accomplished?
well this week was a total loss work wise, however i got to spend some QT with the boys while the hubs attended a local soul care conference.
so since we didn’t get to see much of him, we decided to spend our saturday together having some fun.
so, we took the boys to the batting cages in preparation for fall ball, had lunch at their fave local wing place and then headed over to philly for a little treat at seventh heaven.
rolled ice cream people, its what’s up.

anyways, since we paid $15 for parking, we decided to walk around rittenhouse square and get our money’s worth.
i LOVE shopping in rittenhouse, they have some shops that we don’t have in our local malls or shopping centers so it makes my shopaholic heart do heel kicks when we make time to go! (think: zara, intermix, madewell and free people)

so while the boys looked at sneakers (big surprise), i snuck over to free people to check out what was new and to snag one of their gorgeous bralettes that i’ve been obsessing over.

so, for those of you who love them, here’s a few fitting room snaps!

I grabbed this top bc statement sleeves are still huge for fall and i loved the olive color.  I usually wear an XS in free people, but i grabbed a medium in this one as the bodice is very fitted.  i’ve been wearing a lot of oversized tops lately so I’m just not feeling this one right now.  its very cute tho, super soft and I love the cascading bell sleeve.  i couldn’t find the exact top online, but I did find two similar ones here and here.

like i said above, i am loving oversized tops lately, but i liked the cropped length on this one.  the sleeves are big and blousy, the bodice is very loose and i mean, its black, so whats not to love?!
wearing a small here for reference.
ps:  these fitting room pic faces?  i can’t.

ok, if you do not own a thermal from free people, are you even living?
they are SO soft, SO drapey and always have the perfect silhouettes.  i went with a small in this one for an even more oversized look – i picture this over black skinnies and some cute ankle boots.
and let’s stop and appreciate that little peek of the most gorgeous bralette ever.  i mean, come. on.  SO cute!
i’m a little busty for my size – i’m usually a 34d – so bralettes normally don’t work for me, but when i can add a strapless bra, i’m set.  I know, it defeats the purpose, but sometimes a girl just needs a little lift, am i right?!  again, this one is absolutely gorgeous and comes in a few different colors.  i grabbed the white but am currently scanning the FP website and ready to add a few more colors to my cart.  i’m wearing a small here fyi.

so that’s my quick visit to free people.
i mean, i really wanted every.single.thing. in the store, but i showed a little self control for once in my life.  (who am i?!!)

xo, jillian
