I hit that Sephora Sale last month pretty hard and with that, I’ve been trying out a bunch of new beauty products so I figured I’d share some that I’m loving!
CT Wonder Glow | Dior Primer | CT Setting Spray | Supergoop Glow Screen
I’m one that normally goes for a matte primer, matte setting powder and matte setting spray and with all that matte, I started looking really dull. I mean, I have oily skin so naturally reaching for the matte sounds logical, but it just wasn’t working for me. So after researching the makeup routines of some people whose makeup and skin I admired, I realized I was doing it all wrong. I was using a foundation that wasn’t giving me the coverage I wanted and my face was looking like an oil slick by 4PM. So I first decided to grab a primer, the Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer to be exact. The reviews were great and it gives a little glow to start your makeup off. It’s not heavy, its not greasy and no oil slick at the end of the day. I also started using the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation. Its a medium coverage foundation, doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, blends really well and again, no oil slick by the end of the day. WIN. I also grabbed the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray simply bc it says its transfer-free and I was at the point where I hate hugging people and my chin or side of my face hits their shoulder, they’re wearing black and BOOM, half my face of makeup is left on their shoulder. Granted, I haven’t done a transfer test, but it sets my makeup well and the ultimate test for me, no oil slick by 4PM!
Two other products I’m liking is the Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer. One of my favorite Instagrammers recommended it and I buy pretty much anything she swears by so here we are. Its not clumpy and my mascara doesn’t budge when I wear it. I also snagged the Supergoop Glow Screen bc I was in need of a new sunscreen that wouldn’t break me out (most do!). This one has great reviews, all of their products do tbh and it gives a nice little glow too! So far, so good with this one!
Farmacy Honeymoon Glow | Monat Hydration Booster | Makeup By Mario Lip Scrub
Coming out of winter, I’m looking for anything to get rid of flaky lips and this stuff delivers. The Makeup By Mario Lip Scrub is easy to apply in a squeeze tube, it tastes great, its gentle and it actually works! Just apply it like you would any lip balm, rub your lips together to exfoliate and voila! Smooth lips! I apply this every night when I do my nighttime skincare routine.

NYX Lip Pencil | Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm
This is my everyday go-to lip combo lately! I found it from makeupxka and what I love about it is its so neutral and works for any time of day. You use a lip liner that matches your lip color – for me, it’s this NYX Lip Pencil in Natural which is only $4 so I’m down for it! This Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is a little pricey, but I love the consistency of it and its vanilla flavored which is my favorite! I shared how I do my “gym lips” over on Instagram today!
