if you’ve ever been to the anthropologie in rittenhouse square (philadelphia), you know you can just browse the store for over an hour in awe of its beauty.
This building is absolutely gorgeous!
From the jaw-dropping spiral staircase which spans all four floors, to the faux fireplaces, hanging mobiles and stained glass rotunda, its a MUST to pop in for a peek while you’re in the area.

so when the opportunity presented itself to attend their fall fashion show, I called up some of my fellow anthro-loving gal pals and added it to my calendar.

so on thursday, october 5th, my friend Emily and I drove over the bridge (luckily a quick 15min ride) for their 2017 Fall Fashion Show.

I decided to stick with my usual wardrobe of neutral basics for the night.  no, I didn’t wear anthropologie for this event bc I haven’t been in to shop for fall yet since the temps here have been more summer-like despite our October calendar.

sweater | jacket (similar) | cutoffs | booties | necklace | crossbody

we were greeted with prosecco and rosé and a delectable spread of mini treats in true Anthro fashion.  unfotunately, my hands were full of all said goodies so I didn’t get a snap of the spread, but it was GOOD, like realllllly GOOD.

we were then seated in one of the two seating areas in the store to view the show.  each seat had a fun little takeaway – this cute notebook, and if you know me, i looooove a good notebook, along with a branded pencil and a coupon – hollaaaaaa!

the show then started and hit every single trend for fall:

fall florals

this dress is SO out of character for me, but I loved how they styled it in the show with fun ankle boots and a black hat

metallics

this metallic tunic with that necktie was an instant favorite of mine!
throw it over some ripped black skinnies and velvet booties and you’re set for the holidays!

pajama trend

i’m a HUGE fan of the pajama trend, i mean how can you NOT be?!!
these silver pants would be so cute with a knotted graphic tee

fringe

this fringe, embroidered clutch is the perfect punch for the simplest of looks!

embroidery

this picture will never do this skirt justice you guys!
its hand-beaded and embroidered with a sheer overlay.
its just absolutely STUNNING and you need it <3

pleats

no matter what color or print, midi skirts are not going away!
i love them with a heeled bootie, a simple tee and a statement necklace!

velvet

i’m not much of a blazer girl, but this velvet, iridescent version had all of the heart eyes from me.

after the show wrapped up, we were able to shop the store (hence the snaps above) and we just really enjoyed this night!  the employees were uber-helpful (customer service is top notch here!) and it was just a fun, fashionable girls night out!

so here’s a peek at some clips i shot at the show – ignore the iPhone quality – and some of my favorite pieces for fall – be sure to stop in your local anthropologie and check them out for yourself <3
