The holidays are HERE people! Isn’t it crazy how they sneak up on you?? I’m usually the gal that remembers on December 1st that I haven’t even thought about Christmas cards. Don’t act like you’ve never been that gal, it happens to the best of us! Anyways, I was SO excited to partner with Basic Invite this month to share not only how easy it is making Christmas cards online, but also invites for Christmas party, holiday office party invitations or any other card needs you may have!
I had SO much fun choosing what style of cards I wanted this year (modern, minimalist, fancy, retro), they give you a ton of options! Basic Invite has over 500 Christmas card and holiday card designs to be exact, including foil holiday cards available in gold, silver and rose gold! I looooove me some rose gold! Even the foil cards are available in flat or folded card options.
Once I picked out the designs I liked, then I had to decide on a color palette – should I do cards in traditional Christmas colors or go rogue and against the grain? They have almost unlimited colors and will give you an instant preview online with the ability to change every element on the card with over 180 different color options! I just love the hugely personal touches you’re able to give your cards!
Oh yeah, speaking of colors, they also have over 40 different envelope colors too! Don’t be boring like me with plain ol’ white envelopes, switch it up so it stands out in your family and friends’ mailboxes! They’re also peel and seal so you don’t need to lick one nasty glue strip! Have you ever seen that Seinfeld episode? I am not going down on the account of an envelope, haha!
Basic Invite also offers an address capturing service that will allow you to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or whatever social media platform you prefer to collect everyone’s addresses. They are then stored in your customer account and you just select who gets a card during the design process – easy peasy! No pulling out that beat up address book anymore trying to make sure you have everyone’s current address! PS: Printing the recipient’s address on your cards is FREE! Boom goes the dynamite!
Once I was able to put together a bunch of cards that I loved, Basic Invite sent me a printed sample of each card so I could see exactly how it would look and feel before even placing my order! So no fear of blurry pictures, color variations or the dreaded typo!
I truly had SUCH a blast creating our cards this year, I went a little crazy in case you didn’t notice! Delaney clearly needed her own announcement and why not make a gorgeous invite for our Christmas party? What I’m even more excited to share is that Basic Invite is offering 30% off your order with coupon code: holi30
If you have any questions about my cards or Basic Invite, be sure to shoot me an email, I would love to help you out!
Lastly, a HUGE Thank You to Basic Invite for the opportunity to partner this holiday season! I loved making my Christmas cards online and will be back next holiday season for sure!
