ok, so let’s just say my first week of the challenge didn’t start off as easily as I expected. Â unfortunately, my Nanny passed away so the first part of the week was spent in funeral wear that I did not account for in my wardrobe capsule. Â the week is also ending with a snow storm which was also….not planned for.
life. Â what can I say? Â goes to show you that you can’t plan for everything!
anyways, I kept my looks pretty simple this week as I’m sure I’ll start feeling the burn + a push to be more creative with my looks in the coming weeks.  one thing I am realizing is that I don’t wear a ton of dresses or skirts this time of year.  maybe choosing two of them wasn’t the wisest decision, but again, it’ll give me a challenge to see how to style them with the other pieces I chose for this month.  hey, I’m a capsule newbie with an overflowing closet.  nobody said I would choose the smartest 33 pieces, but I’m going to make the best of it + learn for the next one.
so without further adieu, here’s the roundup of my week:
sunday church look:  gray sweater (under $20!) + leather leggings + tan coat (similar) + sneakers
beanie (similar) | celestial choker | electra necklace
boho wednesday:  printed blouse + black skinnies + tan booties
